Mood: Busy ehh.....
Listening to: Ian Van Dahl ~ Waiting 4 You
Reading: Confessions of the Teenage Hacker
Watching: The Outsiders

as you may already read, finals are here for me. Although it seems like I dont have a actually true final, its more like tests and projects.

Just recently i took my chapter 7 french test, and boy what a hoot. Multple Choice! (yay!) I was soo glad to see that the professor chose to do this test in multple choice format. I just hope I do good on it. I think I did, but never know what might occur.

the one thing that amuses me when I walk to class is all these man made footpaths of snow. Its funny to see people making their own shortcuts and see what path is walked the most.

I actually started my own path. it goes from the Elmwood Ave Mailbox near the library cutting diagonal to Harrington Hall. This saves a little time getting to halsey.

But it is always amusing to see more of these paths pop up. Especially around Swart Hall and the Arts and Communications Building. Again, I appauld for the students eagerness to get to class quickly! /clap

xmas is here! well not literaly, but its almost here. I did my xmas shopping about a week and a half ago and spent like 325 dollars! (all merchandise purcashed online) Shipping costed me approxmently 86 dollars, so that is about 225 dollars of xmas gifts all for my family. Anways, i'am so excited for what I get for xmas! =)

after much consideration, and the checking to make sure that we aren't doing anything special around the 28th and the 1st, I made the decision to attend the Twin Cities Xperience, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I went last year and had a blast and thought that I should attend the next year becaus eits my 1 year anniversery of accepting christ into my life. I just pray that after going to the conference 2nd year in a row, that I get encourage to study my bible more.

anyways, i should stop writing. I've wrote too much today and I need to study.

Have a great week! =)

computer lab rant...

Fri Dec 2, 2005, 6:31 AM
patrons choose PCs over MACs....

Mood: Tired usual AM tiredness
Watching: The I Inside, Startgate Atlantis, Hacker (netflix)

working as usual in the computer labs gets boring, especiall when its a Friday. Of course everyone knows the good o' saying "TGIF!" (Thank Goodness It's Friday) With it being a Friday, it gets really really boring. Either you don't want to do your homework for the weekend or you just wanna sit on your rear, and stare in awe at the computer screen.

bah, sounds like what Iam doing right now.

Mac or PC in the computer lab.

The Computer Lab is full at the moment, with the only computers on are the iMac's in the back room. A lady walks in wanting a PC. her cellphone makes the biggest noise in the lab. (assuming its a txt msg) gosh that was loud, everyone just glanced at her.

As she begins looking for a Open PC, she finds nothing.. looks around again, and starts walking over to the priority pcs and the macs......

what pisses me off is that shes using a priority computer when she is not in need of priority software.. gosh damnit..... thats what the priority comptuers are!! for users that need SPECIAL SOFTWARE THAT ARERNT ON THE REGULAR COMPUTERS!!!.... She got lucky because 2 patrons responded to her calling of wanting to use the computers and they leave.

Why the h*ll did she not use a MAC.. they are the same frigging computer, just need some time learning, in fact if all your wanting to do is check your e-mail and look at a few websites, pick a mac! it'll save you the time in the end run...

ohh great... more people walk in.. i think iam about to cry!... geez why do people not want to use a mac? bah..... iam gonna stop talking about this subject. It just makes me wonder why do people not want to try something new for somethign they are going to use in the matter of 5 minutes...

ohh by the way, the lady i was talkin about with teh annoying sound from her cell phone. she leaves.. and let me see, she was only there for 5-7 minutes and insisted that she use a priority computer...............

bah... lets stop

icky!

icky!... ahk!.. yar!

Mood: Tired Tired!
Listening to: Aqua ~ Barbie Girl
Reading: The Bible
Watching: King Kong? Chronicles of Nardia? (need2see!)

ahhhh! soo tired and wtf is a PUK? Last night, I was playing with my phone on the crapper and suddely my PIN number is blocked and I'am forced to call good o' tech support for a PUK number.

First of all, why in the hell did I not get a PIN number? Usually it's a default number combination that your forced to change, but neither does the manual or the website say anything about a defaul code. Pfft,... shows how a manual can come in handle. Whoever reads the manual anyways? For a game? Nah. Just play the game how you want it to played. The only game out there that I think requires the reading of a manual is World of Warcraft. Just because the manual has some rather useful information about different factions, characters, and your longterm commitment to that character to reach the long levels of 60!

Anyways back to the PUK, leaving my mind in a set of confusion I decided to call upon the mighty search engine, "Google!" Google has all the anwsers ya know.

The PUK code: an emergency needn't turn into a crisis
[link]

To protect you in the event of theft, the SIM card is immediately locked if someone keys in three different incorrect PIN codes in succession. This also applies if you absent-mindedly enter an incorrect PIN code three times in a row. The message "PIN locked" will appear on the screen. In this event, you can fall back on the PUK code, which comprises eight digits. Enter this code in order to unlock your mobile phone, and then follow the instructions on the screen. Should a person give an incorrect PUK code ten times in a row, the card will be irrevocably cancelled.

All thank goodness to the Lord that I did not play around with the PUK number 10 times, because I really do not want my card to be cancelled. I guess a lovely call to Cingular Tech Support would be great today.

To follow in with my previous post about a month ago! (Wow a month ago? I really need to use this more often. I paid 30 bucks for this and I want it to last!!! (puts [link] in my startpage)) .Mac is a waste of cash, maybe...... 100 bucks for a year for all this wonderful stuff that can integrate with your mac? No thanks, a webhosting account is probably all you need, but I guess I'am lazy for that at the moment. But on the other hand, a deviantART account can also serve the purpose for a webhosting, i dunno how, but its 7:56am in the morning. I haven't took my usual wake-up shower, no sort of caffinee yet, plus i Just woke up 30 mins ago. Give me a chance to wake up first to explain in more details.

bah.... time to get back to work.

ohh ya what also makes this day icky and blah is the fact that I have a exam today for French Class. ( I just got back 3 days ago from a beautiful Thanksgiving Break! Do you honestly think I would remember the stuff from Friday, November 22nd? Sadly enough, very doubtful. So I suppose its my day to study for French. On second thought I have a presentation for class, I need to write up for tommrrow!! Its no biggie, just a plain o' summary of Stargate: Atlantis. ( i havent watched the show, but I've seen Stargate: SG-1, assuming the main storypoints are there, but with different characters. The presentation should be easy enough. BTW, our professor is like 60 years old and honestly she can do some pretty dumb stuff in class, which I guess makes her class enjoyable.)

ahhh i need a digital camera!!!!! maybe thats what I should get for christmas for myself? i dunno, but I want one!! (*cries!! :( ) if any deviants out there are reading this, and you have a camera for sale, send me a note and or AIM me, I may be interested! I guess any camera would work, just somethign that will work and take wonderful shots!

Anyways for now, back to work Tim! (actually at work typing this) Now go fill paper to the printers now!
